Candidacy
Veneers suit some problems and not others
They are excellent for shape, shade and small alignment corrections. They are the wrong answer for untreated decay, gum disease or a bite that needs orthodontics.
- Discoloured teeth that do not respond to whitening
- Worn, chipped or uneven edges across the front teeth
- Small gaps and mild rotations, where alignment is otherwise acceptable
- Healthy gums, stable decay risk, and grinding under control

Smile conversation
Visit 1 · 60 minutes
Photographs, a discussion about what you dislike, and an honest assessment of whether veneers, bonding, whitening or alignment is the better route.

Afterwards
What to expect once they are bonded
There is no surgical recovery, but there is an adjustment period.
First 48 hours
Mild sensitivity to cold is common and settles. Speech can feel slightly different while your tongue learns the new edges.
First fortnight
Gums settle around the margins. We review, polish and adjust the bite if anything feels high.
Long term
Clean as normal, wear the night guard if provided, and avoid using front teeth as tools. Ceramic is strong but not indestructible.
Cosmetic treatment is elective. Clinical recommendations and outcomes vary between individuals, results cannot be guaranteed, and enamel adjustment is not reversible. All of this is discussed in detail before consent.
